We continued east along the A96 passed Inverness. We came to this 1200 year old carved pictish stone and burial marker called Rodney's Stone. It was once used as a special place for religious ceremonies. The two-metre high Pictish cross slab was originally found nearby in the grounds of the old church of Dyke and Moy.
